From the SWOT analysis of Wal-Mart, we have seen that the company has got a number of threats that threaten to interfere with its market position. Just like any other company, Wal-Mart faces a lot of competition in the business world that it is involved.
Even though the company has got a major success story in the United States, this is not the case everywhere. The Company has come under huge competition when it was introduced in the foreign markets in other parts of the world. Thus, in order to maintain their huge market share which they are very much known for, the managers of this company had to come up with a strategy that would help keep the company at the top (Clark, 2010).
